There is an infamous burger place in Nõmme called Hiiu Grill. Although this place looks a bit shabby, it has played a huge role in the character development of me and many of my friends. Hiiu Grill was the meeting place where most of the stories started and ended. Over the years I’ve spent countless hours eating countless burgers over there. I recently learned that the building is going to be demolished. This made me want to capture this place before it’s forgotten. I wrote down various characters and events I had seen over the years and recreated them in this staged photograph.
