“What is in the picture” is a series of four paintings. The substance of the paintings is inspired by images generated by artificial intelligence. I have created picturesque environments in which I depict familiar yet unearthly images and situations. I am exploring ways to rethink images made up of pixels by interpreting their digital nature into a material-centric language of painting.
