“LADA 2101 – 2022” is an experimental documentalistic art video which focuses on memories – one family’s memories of their Lada and the adventures that came with it. The video consists of fragmented audio stories with graphical frames that play with Lada’s physical form through the medium of film to accompany the visuals heard from the audio stories. The purpose of the art video is to create the observer memories of the Lada, to which they can add their own personal memories when seeing the car at EKA’s courtyard. The project was made as a memorial to my grandfather, the owner of the Lada, Mart Kastan.
